Current: PhD student, The Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), Brazil
During her visit to the Lee lab, she analyzed RNA-seq and whole exome sequencing data from TCGA and her own collection of thyroid cancer samples to understand disease progression from benign in situ to invasive and more aggressive tumors. Thaise obtained a BA in Biomedicne from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte and an MS in genetics from the University of São Paulo (USP) in Brazil. Currently she is a PhD student at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP).
