Shayna Mallett

Shayna is a computational research assistant in the Lee Lab. She graduated summa cum laude with her BS in Computer Science from Barrett the Honors College at Arizona State University in May 2022. She contributes to the pipeline development for identifying and analyzing somatic SNV and LINE-1 calling pipelines in the NIH's SMaHT consortium. She is an aspiring physician-scientist interested in using computational approaches to understand the genomic basis for diseases. Outside of lab, she likes baking and running and is currently training for the New York City Marathon on Boston Children's Hospital's charity team.
