Welcome!
We are a computational genomics and bioinformatics group in the Division of Genetics and Genomics at Boston Children's Hospital and Harvard Medical School. We are also affiliated with the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. Alice is a faculty member of the Harvard Bioinformatics and Integrative Genomics (BIG) PhD Program.
Our research goal is to characterize genomic variation and functional change associated with human disease using a computational genomics and bioinformatic approach. Currently, we focus on investigating aberrations in repetitive DNA, particularly transposable elements, and other types of genomic variants in various human diseases. We envision pioneering the frontiers of knowledge on human disease with the latest genomic technologies and rigorous computational analyses ultimately to translate our scientific discoveries into improved healthcare outcomes.
