Dr. Boxun Zhao joined the Lee laboratory as a postdoctoral fellow in August, 2018. He obtained his PhD in Genetics from Peking Union Medical College and Tsinghua University. He studied somatic retrotransposon insertions in neurological disorders through the development of novel experimental assays and bioinformatic sequencing analyses during his PhD studies.
